A character added to the Post-Civil War landscape, Blue Marvel was a character added to Marvel canon in 2008. Created by Kevin Grevioux, his first appearance was in a mini-series known as Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel.
However, after that mini-series the comics didn’t have much use for him, reminding us of his existence in Heroic Age before he finally started making appearances in Avengers comics. Since 2013 the character has bounced around different Avengers books from Mighty Avengers to the Ultimates to helping out in Avengers: No Road Home.
